Secondary IF

New here! Intro!

Hi all! I decided to jump over here on this board bc it seems to suit me better. I have a 2 yr old and we are trying for number 2. We have been trying since November 2012 and no luck. I'm going in on Monday to see what we are going to do. I have no idea what my doctor is going to say. My first pregnancy was a surprise, so I just thought the next one would be just as easy. I have a lot of friends/family who just don't understand what I'm going through and it's really been pretty tough emotionally. I'm so glad I have you ladies to talk and lean on. It's nice to know your not alone.

  • Welcome to the board!

Are you over the age of 35? If not, 6 months isn't really abnormal. Make sure you're charting to confirm ovulation, using OPKs to help pinpoint your lh surge, and having well timed intercourse to cover all your bases.

We're always happy to answer any questions and offer support when needed :)

  • Good luck with your appointment and diagnosis. PCOS is no fun, but it doesn't always mean you'll need a lot of intervention. I was able to conceive DS after a few months on Metformin after I finally got a firm diagnosis. This time we haven't been so lucky, but a lot of women with PCOS don't need much more than that to conceive. Welcome to the board!
