Just wondering how does everyone take their formula when going out and about? Do you take it in a cooler? Looking for the best (and easy) ways to do this. And if your out in public how are you heating it up? Am I better off using powder for days like this?
Re: FF moms, what is the best way to carry formula when out?
I carry a formula dispenser that has the right amount and a bottle with the right amount of water already.
Pour and shake and feed baby. No dealing with a cooler, warming the bottle, etc.

This -- except I don't carry the pre-made stuff. I keep a 5 oz bottle with enough powder for 4 oz and all necessary parts in the diaper bag. It's also the only bottle I take when I'm grabbing my "abbreviated" diaper bag (2ish diapers, wipes, and this bottle and nothing else for quick trips to the store) For something like church, I will bring a bottle with the formula premixed, or breastmilk since I'm still partially breastfeeding, if I know there is a potential for him to get hungry in the middle of the service.

We don't warm out bottles, as long as they aren't freezing cold out of the fridge. DD doesn't mind.
This. I bought a dispenser that is divided into three compartments. DH tried using it but said the powder poured from one compartment into another so he refuses to use it. I have to try it one of these days myself because DH often gives up on things if they don't work quite right off the bat. I bought a medicine dispenser with a nipple on it to give LO gripe water. DH used it first and said LO wouldn't take it. I proved him wrong afterward. Lol So I want to try the dispenser to see if it works properly for me. Ha!
Anyways, we use small Tupperware containers to transport premeasured portions of formula. It works just as well.

This. The Avent dispenser works way better than the Munchkin one IMO. The mouth of the container is in a better place than the Munchkin.
We usually always take 3 bottles and 3 premeasured sections.
This. I don't worry about warming the formula when I'm out. I know Tommee Tippie has a travel bottle warmer, but it's a PITA.

This is what I do too. I usually have a bottle of water in the diaper bag too, in case we're out longer and he wants more. If we're just going to someone's house, I'll have the formula container in the diaper bag.
We've got the 3-compartment powder thing, one 4-oz bottle ready with powder, and a stainless steel canteen full of water. We just mix as we go and rinse the bottle after the feeding. Our diaper bag has an insulated side zipper big enough for the water bottle. We've never heated bottles, just used room temp water. LO doesn't seem to mind.
We used to take multiple bottles filled with formula and the water bottle, but they just take up so much space.
Some of you may be thinking "you're supposed to have water and mix the powder in, not have powder and mix the water". Trust me, we've experimented with how it mixes and how much should be in there... it works the same
