I would love to take a trip to Pennsylvania when the kids are young. There seems like there are so many great museums. I would love to take them to Sesame Place, Crayola, Hershey, Touch Museum. Is anyone familiar with these museums? Are they worth a family vacation to hit them all?
TIA!
Re: Anyone live in Pennsylvania?
I grew up there and haven't been to those places since I was a kid but I will say that I can't wait to take my own kids! Hershey is fun but my favorite family park is actually Knoebels. This is because my grandma (who I lived with) could come becuase it's free to get into the park and you just pay to ride each ride or you can get a wristband for unlimited ride. She'd always get tickets to do the train with us and then we'd get the handstamps to do everything! very friendly with picnic areas and it use to be free parking..Sesame Place is fun for kids because they know the characters.. I also LOVED the Franklin Institute as a kid..
Hope you get to go! It's beautiful there in fall too if you're going to do more museums and less parks... have fun!
