What has everyone done today to improve/maintain their fitness? I took my dog on a slow 3 mile jog to loosen up my muscles from kickboxing class last night. Tomorrow will be my long run. Share your workout!
You can do kickboxing while pregnant? Great fitness maintenance! I haven't yet, but I'll be at the gym sometime after dinner to do a 30-45 minute incline walk. My body hasn't really been liking the 45 walk. I'm hoping that changes in the 2nd tri.

My doctor told me I could continue the same level of activity that I was doing before I got pregnant as long as I listened to my body and hydrated more frequently. The kickboxing is more of a cardio/boot camp class that utilizes a stationary punching bag for part of the class. It's a lot of fun!
I went to Cardio Sculpt Pilates today. It was my first time at this class and it was awesome! The only downside was the instructor was male and was a little concerned about having me in class. I told him its fine, I know my limits and I can make modifications when necessary. He thought it was too high impact for me... it wasn't, especially compared to my normal workouts.
That is awesome you are able to kickbox. I am impressed!! I teach spin 3x a week and am 26 weeks pregnant. Hoping to continue for another 2 months! I also do 100 floors on the step master on my days off from spin. And I lift as well. Still feeling great!!!!
