Okay, help me feel better about where DD is with talking/babbling. She started saying dadada and bababa just before she turned 8 months old and still does that all the time, but no mamas (not for lack of effort on my part, lol) and does not seem to be associating any words with objects/people yet. Tell me some of your LO's are in the same place at almost 11 months and not to worry.
Re: Talking/babbling
My DS doesn't say any words yet. He babbles a lot, but he does associate words with objects. The only word that I think he tries to say on a daily basis is "cat" but it sounds more like "caaaaa". Mostly, he just points to things and says "dadadada". I'm constantly comparing him to my daughter who was saying a few words at this age (and I know I shouldn't do that).
I don't think you have to worry. Every little one develops at their own rate
My little guy will be 11 months in two days
