Retained Moro reflex?

Hello, I'm an SLP so I lurk here sometimes in case I have anything to contribute, but this is my first time here asking a question. My DD is almost 6 months, almost 5 months adjusted, and she still shows a very significant startle reflex. The pediatrician said that this could indicate possible neurological issues, and suggested we see a pediatric neurologist. I made the mistake of googling it and the results were grim. Our appointment is a month away. Anybody have personal experience with this specific issue?
