Vacation

So XH wants to take DD (who is currently 19 months old) on vacation in August for 5 days. I'm really not comfortable with that because of the fact that she's only accustomed to one overnight per month right now (soon to be 2), and I just feel that 5 nights in a row would be excessive. I was prepared to offer 2, possibly even 3 nights, but 5 is a bit much, at least at this age. 

Do any of you have any experience in this? What do you think??

    I think it depends on the situation. Where is he taking her? Is he going out of town on vacation? Is he going with other family members?

    Could you go along and just stay at another hotel and let him have her for a few nights then you have her for a few nights.

     Realistically unless you think she'd be in danger 5 nights isn't crazy unheard of. Maybe you could facetime or skype with her?

    I would be booking my own vacation if LO's father took her for 5 nights!

    I don't know if you are a Christian or have faith in a higher power, but you will have peace about it when it's time. If there is no peace then it's not time. There will be other vacations.
