Did you have sex on your wedding night?

DH and I did not. We were so freaking exhausted after our wedding, I seriously fells asleep in the car, in my dress, before we even made it home! We had to put our honeymoon off for a week because DH got hired at school and had to stay through the end of the school year, so we just went home afterwards, and seriously getting to sleep in my own bed was glorious! I dont regret anything about my wedding night! Lol! We had a funsexfilled day the day after.

One of my friends waiting to have sex until she was married. He husband wasn't a virgin when they got married. They left for their honeymoon but had to drive really far, they stopped at a hotel for the night and he fell asleep! She texted me, "what the helll? I'm 27 years old and I WANT TO HAVE SEX, and he's sleeping!" LOL!

Your poor friend! I was also a virgin and DH was also not, but we definitely had sex...four times. Basically got to hotel, oohed and ahhed over it because they upgraded us to a fancy suit for free, and got down to business, haha. Not much sleeping that night! There was also a lot of champagne and fancy pizza for breakfast, haha.

I do know others who did not. They also were living together beforehand, but my good friends watched Kung Fu Panda and fell asleep.

I'm seriously jealous. I begged to elope. DH wouldn't have it. Our wedding was horrible as a result. I seriously don't have any good memories from that day other than when he finally kissed me and we were officially married.

dh was skeptical at first but he eventually agreed. We don't regret it at all-it was really romantic and fun.

We did, but we were both virgins. We didn't put any pressure on ourselves - so if we had been too tired and just wanted to sleep that would have been fine, but we left the reception at 10:30 or something, so we were still feeling ok. We had a dry wedding though too, so that probably had something to do with it.

I was on my period, so no. And every year for about 5 years until my cycle changed, we did not have sex on our anniversary either. Yes, I used to be that regular. Of course, then I started trying to get pg again and that all changed.

I had a very small wedding and reception so we weren't tired from that, the fact that my husband didn't book a hotel room in advance is what kept us from from getting kinky that night. We drove around for over an hour and a half trying to book a nice hotel room downtown. ( we didn't know there was a rowing tourney being held that weekend on the river, so EVERYTHING was booked) We ended up staying at the red roof inn - I felt so trashy, but it was funny. We did have a quickie the next morning though!

We didn't. Our wedding was early so I was up at 5am and we spent the evening with all of our siblings. We don't live anywhere close to them so that was nice. We had early flight the next day, so we just waited until the first night of the honeymoon.

Our wedding night was horrible.There was a wedding going on in the ballroom of the hotel we stayed in and the other bride and groom were staying down the hall. The people in the room next to us were their guests and they had a huge argument, the girlfriend ran down the hall screaming for help while the drunk boyfriend screamed that he was going to kill her. DH went out and said he had called the police and the boyfriend took off. And the other bride chased her friend down the hall in her wedding dress.

How's that for romantic? Super klassy. It was only the icing on the cake.

I really wanted to but as soon as we walked into our hotel room DH beelined for the bathroom to puke. Talk about romantic! Then he passed out in bed. He didn't even bring an overnight bag so he had to wear his tux home the next day.

Yes we did. The hotel we stayed at was doing some renovations that apparently really needed to be done quickly. Just as H and I started having sex, we heard some type of tool outside our window. They were cutting the tiles for the floor at 11:30pm. Not the most romantic thing but we laugh about it now.

I'm pretty sure you're right. My friend was 19 and her DH 22 when they got married and she could drink because her DH was of age.

We were both 21 when we got married and had waited until our wedding night, and 7x still sounds like too much work, LOL.

Haha! Nope. No sex until the honeymoon. We were exhausted and drunk (or at least I was... I can't speak for MH, I don't remember. Because I was drunk.) and it was very early in the morning and we were leaving in just a few hours for our honeymoon. We pretty much walked in the door, took off our clothes, got into bed, and slept until we had to get up to catch our flight. I'm okay with that.

I'm also really glad we didn't wait until we were married because that set up would have made for a really lame first time after waiting that long.

Yeh not a law here, though nobody cares if you are drinking at home and you are underage... DH and I were both 20 (he had only recently turned 20), and we had a whole disgusting glass of red wine (I've changed my ways and love wine now) on our honeymoon. When DH has his extensive background check including polygraph to get into the police dept, they asked what drugs he had done and if he drank underage. He admitted to drinking a glass of wine on his honeymoon, but was otherwise "clean." They laughed and said that was fine- but didn't really believe that he hadn't done drugs!
