I met him at a country bar line dancing 3 years ago. We eyeballed each other all night so I finally went over and elbowed him in his side and we started laughing, we danced all night and the next day he invited me over to swim and barbecue. We have been together everyday since then.

1) Where did you meet you SO? At a 4th of July bonfire.... mutual friends introduced us.

3) Where'd you go on your first day? Any funny stories? Our first "official" date was a nice waterfront restaurant on Lake MI.... we had been long distance dating for a month by then.

1) Where did you meet you SO? We met through the Christian Fellowship group on my campus freshman year. DH didn't even go to my school, but he was with friends that went there

2) How long have you been together? 4 years

3) Where'd you go on your first date? Any funny stories? I am not sure when our first official date was. I know the first time we got together without other friends was when he picked me up at my parents house to go out to dinner for a friend's birthday. He drove the most ridiculous redneck truck. Our friend was calling him so I took the wheel while he tried to answer it... and I drove us over the curb. Embarrassed He took the wheel and carried on the conversation like nothing had happened.

1. We met at happy hour and started talking. When I found out he knew a really good friend of mine I gave him my real email address, and then checked up on him before I responded back!

2. We met in October of 2003, so just about 10 years, although we're only married just about 7.

3. We went to hibachi, and funny enough our first date was on halloween, and we had a great time but didn't really make plans to go anywhere afterwards, so I ended up going out with my girlfriends to the bars when i got home!

DH and I met at a kids camp, we both worked there as staff for a few summers. We didn't start dating until a few years later, when we became FB friends and started chatting online.

We have been together for 5 years married for almost 2 years.

Our first date was at a Italian place at a ocean side town, then we walked the pier and had ice cream. Exactly one year later we got engaged there.

Something funny... DH is 10 years older then me!

We met in college, both majoring in agriculture. Ag business for me and ag mechanics for him.
Together for 10 years and married for 4.

Funny story - He wanted to proposed to me at the top of a lighthouse at the beach, however a hurricane hit early and the weather was getting worse as we were driving to the beach. When we got there the light house was closed due to weather so he decided to propose on the beach in the middle of the hurricane as we were being pelted by rain and sleet! It was cute lol.

We went to grade school together and became friends in 5th grade. My neighbor, a boy, was one of my best friends and his best friend.

2 How long have you been together?
started dating 13 1/2 years ago, I was 13 and he was 14. We dated on and off for 7 years ans finally got back together for good when I was 20.

3 Where'd you go on your first day?
Ugh I can't remember. Since we were so young we didn't go on too many dates, but I'm thinking it was the movies, A Walk to Remember

Any funny stories?
His first girlfriend was/is my best friend. I was there for their first kiss. That was his opening line for his best man speech, I was the moh for her and he was the best man. We used to sneak out every weekend to see eachother. I could probably think of a million other funny stories but I'm about to leave work.

DH's ex is my best friend, and he is best buds with her husband now haha. We were their MOH and best man... and they were ours!

A friend's party. I'd just moved to this city and didn't know many people. This was end 2006, and I had a boyfriend at the time.
2) How long have you been together?
We were friends for a long time - we had crushes on each other at different times though. Got together end May 2008, so 5 years.
3) Where'd you go on your first date? Any funny stories?
Our first date was a Chris Rock show. We went with friends of his I hadn't met and they tried so hard to embarrass him and tell me all about his semen-soaked sheets. Nice.
Our second date was to the museum for some archaeological talk. We were the youngest people there by about 20 years!

1. We met on the interwebs. We were AIM chat buddies for about 2 years (also talked on the phone) before meeting face to face. We did the long-distance thing for about a year before he moved here to go to college.

2. Together 11.5, married for 4.5 - we started chatting at 16, so we both had a TON of growing up to do.

3. Umm... I know we went to dinner w/ a bunch of my crazy friends. Beyond that, I don't really remember (that's bad, I know!)

Funny story - he lived with my sister for almost 4 years before we got married.

Any funny stories? For a couple weeks before he asked me out we were hanging out a lot and I was being very flirtatious, but I didn't even realize I was doing it, including stealing his hat and placing it in awkward places. Finally he asked me out and I said "I suppose we can try". He will not let me live it down.
One time I French braided his hair and we dared him to go running through the dorm with his hair like that, shirtless and screaming. (I'm not sure if we were dating yet at the time).

He was my brothers friend, I stole him. We liked each other for 2 years but it took 2 years and a night of drinking to find out it was mutual.

hmm....married 4 years this July, together almost 8!

well our "first date" was probably the night we finally broke the ice. We were out with a bunch of friends, he'd been staring at me all night, I finally gave up on him making the first move and grabbed his hand under the table. Then on the way home (walking) he pulled me down a side street and finally kissed me. Our first date after that was for gelato, DH only had a $100 bill for some reason and they wouldn't take it so I had to pay, he was mortified, haha.

I left my number on DHs truck. It was intended for his friend that was with him. I went out with his friend, once or twice. A couple months later I met him again.

We've been together almost 4 years.

First date was mudding. Yup classy folks here.

This is great! Love the stories.

We are both actors and met at an outdoor repertory company because we were in two shows together.

We've been together 6 years in June, married for 5 (we got married under a year).

Our first date was to a jazz club's open mic. Afterwards we went for a huge walk through our downtown area. Funny story bit: we swore we wouldn't kiss the whole night and it was the most difficult challenge ever (for both of us)! We still bring up the challenge sometimes for old-time's sake. Funny and sexy at the same time.
