Small rant

I love how guys can pick and choose when they're ready to step up to the plate. I haven't gotten a response from my child's father yet. He also hasn't been online which is weird and kind of has me worrying. Yes we're young but it's time to take care of responsibilities. I hope he comes around and if not, no worries because my child will be loved either way. I just feel my child deserves a father. My father was in my life until he passed and he still has his father in his life.. So selfish of you if you choose to not be in your first borns life! The older males I know keep saying "males handle things differently and sometimes it takes us awhile to come around". Idk. Just had to rant.

  • I'm with ya! I just really don't understand it and I"m not that young. But you have the right attitude, your baby will be loved either way.

  • Guys don't think they have to take responsibility. It sickens me but, on the bright side I won't have to share my son with anyone, I'll get him for every birthday and every holiday, I'll get to take him to every first day of school and every first will be with me. I won't risk missing his first word or his first steps and I'll get all of the time I want with him! His dad is missing out but, that doesn't mean my son will have any less love, support and guidance just because one silly person isn't there for him.

That's how I felt! Like you're going to be hurting YOURSELF. You're not hurting me. And when your child gets older, you'll be hurting him/her. This child didn't ask to be born but since its coming and it's a blessing, it's time to be a big person! Like I said, I hope he decides to come around or hope nothing has happened to him but still
  • I feel the same way...my daughter's father is not going to step up when she's born either and I feel sad espically b/c my dad was so important to me and I want her to have that too...but you're right. Your child will be loved either way. :) I wish you the best of luck. and know you're not the only one going through this!

Yes I was a daddy's girl too. But thank you. Good luck to you too. It is good to know you're not the only one in certain situations.
