I had my first appt today. It went great, we had a U/S and baby measured right on and had a strong heartbeat. Due date is Christmas Eve eve(12/23) Now it's REALLY real.
Congratulations!
DHs bday is 12/22 and his mom named him Christopher in honor of Christmas. If he was a girl she was going with Christina.
Penny: will it be pronounced like GEEZUZ or HEYZOOS?
I think I would go with the HEYZOOS pronunciation otherwise that is a lot to live up to.
Jesus for sure. Winter was actually our girl name with C (team green). Dh wanted Winter again, but I had a freak out the week I had C because I realized Winter is super close to my ex's last name(J's dad) and he is a big enough a$$hole to think our baby was named after him.
I was 1-2 weeks early with my other two, so I think it will definitely be before Christmas.
Don't get me wrong, I am excited to be growing a healthy baby right now. It just didn't seem real until today, seeing and hearing it.
I knew a girl growing up who was born right around Christmas & her name is Santa (saaaan-ta). Please don't name your child this!

Re: Well, there's definitely a baby in there.
If you go on Christmas/eve and it is a boy will you call him Jesus?
Wasn't your girl name last time a around Winter or something? Or was that someone else?
Anyways congrats on your real baby!
