Nesting SO hard....

I am nesting so hard right now it's bananas. DH had the day off, so while the kiddos were napping we rearranged the freaking house! It didn't occur to me that I was nesting till about an hour into the process. When I mentioned that maybe that's what I was doing he responded "Gee, ya think?! I wasn't going to say anything...". Lol, he's taking directions sweetly from me and being so helpful. Anyone else nesting already?

    My DH told me last week:

    "I talked with my mom today and she told me to tell you not to give in to the nesting urge because it will drive me crazy."

     

    I just laughed in his face.

    Is there a thing where you are nesting in your mind, but all you do instead is lay on the couch? I have that, I think. I believe my mom might come over on Saturday to help me with motivation. Last week, she came Saturday around 11 am, we did some taping and prepped to paint the nursery, then went to lunch and got pedis, and barely had time to put up one coat of paint on the walls. BUT that did give me the motivation to go in and finish the second coat myself the next day. I have nesting desires, but not really much energy.

    I don't know if it has a name, but it's a thing! I've had that for about a month...and today something in me just snapped. I asked DH if it was like this last time because I really didnt remember nesting and he flat out laughed in my face.

    I'm having this weird, outside nesting thing. Like, the house is an absolute mess and I don't care, but I have to make sure the garden and backyard look perfect! I am out there everyday weeding and planting and raking and sweeping the deck/patio. We just moved into a house with an above ground pool and that obsession is crazy! And it is catching...hubby is totally with me! I have a million plants now, whereas when we were in our tiny apartment, I couldn't even keep track of one rosemary plant. So weird!

    Yes! We just moved two months ago but a few days ago I just had to rearrange DDs room. So I did. Now I'm about hang curtains and set up the baby's corner in our room just because I'm sick of everything being heaped in the corner! (We are setting up a corner of our room as a nursery instead of giving up the third bedroom that we use as a den. Neither of my older DDs slept in their thoughtfully prepared nursery for over a year, I prefer my infants to be close to me! So this baby gets a functional corner instead!) 
    My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013! image

    Oh, I have ALWAYS had that, pg or not! I would 100 times rather be outside in the yard than inside. I will sweat my @ss off hauling dirt and rocks outside all day long and then be too tired to do any housework. The outside of my house has always looked better than the inside.

    I'm definitely NOT there yet.  By the time I get home, I am so exhausted I just want to go to bed.  I think it will kick in for me as soon as school gets out and I am home during the day.

    Mine is so bad I CLEANED THE FRIDGE AT WORK!! I went to put my lunch in there today and it was so gross, someone's coke can had exploded like 2 weeks ago and no one had bothered to clean it up and the whole fridge is sticky. There was yogurt in there that expired in 2012!!! I threw out anything expired, covered in mold (people at my job are friggen gross man) or covered in soda explosion. Then I wiped the whole thing down with clorox wipes.

     Its been bad at home too, but not in a helpful way. Like I don't want to do the dishes, I want to scrub the grout on the bathroom floor. WHY?? Its weird lol.

    I want to nest. I have made a laundry list of things to do, but when I get home from work, I am exhausted! My poor DH has been a cleaning machine though: I feel bad, but then again, I am super busy growing a child:

    I have been nesting since we found out we were expecting. Here at 3 months poor daddy to be has painted the living room THREE times already!! Thankfully he is a good sport with the cleaning, home improvement, furniture arranging and bulk shopping! :
