I look tired. Child care stress!

I just spent a minute or two trying to get off my old eye makeup before I realized that it's not makeup those are the dark circles under my eyes. Ugh. Thank goodness for good concealer.
Our regular DCP is out of the country for a month and we are using family as childcare. We knew it would be tough but wow! It has been a week and a day and I am already so stressed. There have been a series of irritating but not serious incidents. Then today started with DH and his sister exchanging 5 am texts because she is supposed to be watching DS today but had been up all night "in the process of" breaking up with her boyfriend and is a mess. I have three court appearances and four client meetings today so MIL called in sick to watch him. Oy.
FWIW SIL is a college student on summer break so the level of drama is not completely unheard of or unexpected. We are paying her about 75 percent of what we pay our regular DCP and we planned to do a lot of early pick ups, work from home, etc since she has never watched him FT before. But I really thought we'd get through the first 5 days without this much drama!

I'll join you! My face broke out in a rash last week and I'm pretty sure it's due to the stress of our upcoming child-care switch. My poor DS has to stay at his current provider for the next 1.5 weeks because new provider has jury duty and could be called at any time. Current providers house is packed up and her mind is completely somewhere else. He keeps asking when he can start at the new providers house. I feel so bad for him!
