S/O preemie clothes

The other week I was cleaning out some of the baby clothes to take a donation to the NICU and I found only one preemie outfit. Hubby and I decided to get a picture of the girls with the outfit. image

Annabelle (left) asked the next morning if we could keep the outfit for her baby doll. I obviously let her. It fits her American baby doll perfectly. Just a small reminder how little my girls were and how much they have grown.

    I agree! I have kept a bunch of the preemie clothes, and am really so amazed at how far she has come!

    Awwww, cuteness! I pulled Corri's coming home outfit out recently (a preemie dress) and she was SHOCKED that it once fit her, lol!

    So cute! My mom already bought Anna a bitty baby doll from AG (which of course is bigger than Anna was at birth!) but it fits in her preemie clothes perfectly so we saved them all for her.

    Maybe it's just me but I couldn't wait to get rid of my daughter's preemie clothes. As soon as she grew out of them I gave them to the NICU.. I never even considered that one day she will have baby dolls they would fit. I guess it's just hard to imagine, looking over at her sleeping now, she still does look like a little baby doll to me-- even at 10.5 lbs!

    So cute!  I was just going through my baby clothes the other day and was looking at how tiny the preemie clothes are.  I'm pretty sure we won't need them this time around but keeping them out just in case I have a shorty.
