Hi ladies, I'll briefly re-intro since I've been lurking in the darkness of a March ectopic for a little while now. DH's SA is normal but I have PCOS. We had our first BFP after just Provera in March but spotting and non-doubling betas sent me for a D&C. Fast forward to today . .
I just did blood work in preparation for my HSG Thursday (fingers crossed). I haven't had AF since the D&C and barely bled after methotrexate, so after four weeks my OBGYN had me take Provera again to have AF - but nothing came. 11 days after 10 days of Provera I happened to have an RE appointment and he did an ultrasound to check my lining. He said it was thin which is why I had no AF, but he also said he didn't see any scarring from the D&C which was good. He also said because my cycles are so irregular we could schedule my HSG on any cycle day as long as I did blood work first. I just peed on a negative OPK, so my hopes are high for clear tubes so I can start Clomid Thursday night. Does this all sound about right to everyone?
I also seem to have a choice over whether or not I do the Ovidrel injection - does anyone recommend or not recommend this for any reason?
In any case, I really do love this board and all of the support that I see being given everyday. Thanks to all of you from a lurker, I'll try to come out and play more though ![]()

07/23 emergency lap to remove ectopic mass and left tube
As for your trigger question, it's for forced ovulation for better timing. Personally, I highly recommend it. Why not know within 24 hour window of "OK, I am ovulating" instead of taking endless opks. While with proper monitoring should should be able to narrow it down, it still seems smart to time it.
IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)
IUI#5 BFN (April 2013)

I also had an ectopic in March. My bleeding post-MTX was severe, but I haven't had a period since and my RE won't trigger my period. The waiting is so difficult - my husband was laid off and our insurance runs out soon, so it doesn't look like we get another chance...
I conceived with Ovidrel, it's great. It was the first time that I had ever felt ovulation before - I highly recommend it.
I agree with PP. If you're going to invest in a medicated cycle, then you might as well do the Ovidrel. GL!

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and advice! I watched a YouTube video on administering your own Ovidrel injection and it definitely doesn't look too bad . . certainly worth it if it means better chances for conception
Now just looking forward to hearing back from my RE to know that its a green light for the HSG tomorrow.
Sorry for your loss - the waiting is excruciating
especially depending on your circumstances. I hope things turn around for you and your DH soon.
