Huge Sigh of Relief - Pediatric Neuro visit

Zoey had her bi-annual pediatric neurologist visit today. I am always a bundle of nerves for this appointment (no pun intended). He said, and I quote, "Remember when I saw you in the hospital when Zoey was 2 days old and I said there was a good outcome for brain bleeds and strokes and one not so good? We are at the good outcome."

Its not that she isn't going to walk or talk it is only a matter of when and frankly she is close with both. There really are no words to express the relief I feel. I don't know if she is ever going to be typical and that is okay, but I am so excited that at this point he doesn't see anything holding her back.

He wasn't sure about her tongue tie and what we should do - he is on the fence as we are, but I think we are going to see how she does with a few months of speech therapy and go from there. He also thinks we should see how she does with feeding therapy in a few months.

Also, I need to give major props to aquatic therapy. She started a little over a month ago and it is doing wonders with her upper body strength!
