  Things are good. I guess I should re share my story.

   

  DH and have been together 8 years, married 6. SS is 14 and DS is 4. We have had a few blended family issues over the years.

  6 months after we were married BIL and my 2 year old nephew moved into our small 3 bedroom town home. Nephews mom is a meth addict in and out of jail and half way houses. Almost 2 years ago BIL and nephew moves in to their own apartment and it has just been DH, the kids and I in the house since then. It equals heaven. 

   SS's BM is mum crazy. Anyway she was hospitalized 3 years ago and at deaths door and didn't bother to tell DH. She continued to have BM take care of SS. DH and BM actually weren't speaking at the time and all communication was going through BM's mom. Anyway we found out she was at deaths door because we were fighting for a more updated custody order. BM was given a new heart and is still a peach. We still have our battles and she rarely puts her son first. SS is finally seeing what is mom really is.
