I constantly see Moms talking about "exclusively breastfeeding" on message boards. I was just wondering how you Mama's define EBF. In my AP group in "real life" we consider exclusively breastfeeding as just feeding from the breast, never pumping or introducing a bottle. It seems like other people define it as just giving their baby breast milk and never using formula. How do you define EBF?
Re: EBF?
This. But I'll feel slightly misleading when we start a bottle at DC. I guess it's technically EBMF.
Yes, exactly.
I'll take it a step further and say only breastmilk, no formula or solids.
Same.
This.
Agreed.
To me it means only breastmilk fed. I don't consider the way it is delivered (pump, bottle, cup, breast, donated, etc.)
Agreed.
