Honey, I love you but it's not helpful when the baby wakes up at midnight, you decide to keep him up and play because you aren't tired. Feed him and put him to bed so we can try to keep our routine!! The extra hour of sleep the next morning isn't worth him waking up in the middle of the night the next night expecting playtime!

Honey, I love you but even though you don't like your boxers tight a diaper has to be tight.

(After numerous leaky diapers I watched DH put it on DS and told him it's way too loose. He said "trust me - it's uncomfortable when it's too tight down there")

Honey, I love you but... I have worked all day, entertained our child all evening, bathed and put her to bed... I'm going to have to get up with her when she wakes up throughout the night, and still get up early tomorrow for work and repeat. I do not feel like sexy time for the third night in a row. Yep... Just because I'm home all day doesn't mean I want to take care of a baby and clean up after him too.

Honey, I love you but.... when I say to ignore DD when it's time for her to go to bed that doesn't mean play with her and talk to her. Just because she's talking and being cute she will stay up as long as you pay attention to her

Took the words right out of my mouth! Before baby, I would have been up for it, no problem. Now, he's confused and hurt when he's like "eh? nudge nudge, wink wink" and I just look at him like "you have *got* to be kidding me!" Someday my libido shall return. But not tonight.
