Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Portable sleeper, 3-15 months

We do not want to buy something as big as a pack n play. I see many products for tiny infants (up to 3-4 months) and some for toddlers 2 years plus.

what is there in between, aside from something as big as a pack n play?

we are looking for something much more portable than a pack n play.

Thanks!

  • I just researched this exact issue and decided on the rock and play. It goes up to 25lbs. If that doesn't suit your needs i've heard good things about the Peapod tents.

This is what I have, and it seems to work pretty well. We used it for DD1 up until we switched her to a toddler bed, then when we traveled she just slept in a bed. Mine is an older version that came with a carrying case that worked great. It was easy to set up and put away, and didn't take up much space in the trunk of my car. I just left it in my trunk at all times.

  • I like my travel sized PnP. It's the Graco travel lite with stages. Easy set up. She's still in the bassinet now, but it will be her playpen too in the summer. We checked it when flying in the bag it comes with, no damage.

We have the guava lotus crib. It's a full size crib but packs up soooo small for travel. Love it.

  • I have a peapod.  They don't suggest them if your baby can't roll over well, but after that it's great.  We used ours until 23 months for trips.
