Surgery Thursday

Went to my OB yesterday for an ultrasound and they found stones in my gallbladder. Referred me to a surgeon and I met with him today. He's scheduled my surgery for Thursday. I'm so bummed. I don't want to spend time away from LO or be hurting too much to be with her. I know it's routine surgery but that really doesn't make me feel better. Thoughts and prayers appreciated!
MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    I'm sorry, that sucks!  But it is still good news that it is something treatable and you can get it taken care of soon.  Sending lots of T&P your way for a quick and easy surgery, and a smooth recovery.

    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    Lots of T&P. 

    i had mine out about 4y ago and my recovery wasn't too bad. I was home the same night  and had a few sore days and then was back on my feet. GL.

    Just remember that you are doing the right thing for LO too. You will be a much better mom once you are feeling better yourself. Sending tons of thoughts andprayers your way!

    Ack! That stinks. Hope you have a quick surgery and a speedy recovery.

    Me-36, Unexplained Infertility, DH-35, all clear
    Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
    Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
    IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    Bummer, Im sorry!! I completely understand, when I was re-admitted post partum I was so upset, do you have to stay overnight? I don't know much about this type of surgery. If so, will they allow the baby to stay with you? Or maybe that would cause more stress for you... They allowed LO to stay with me b/c I was BFing.
    dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    Oh no!  I had mine out about a year and a half ago - it wasn't too bad.  I was a little sore for a few days, but not too bad.  I only need the pain meds for about 24 hours, then was fine with just ibuprofen.  I had the surgery on a Monday, went home a few hours after it was done, and was back at work on Friday.  I hope yours goes just as smoothly!  It is so nice to eat fattening foods again and not have debilitating pain as a result Wink
