Antral Follicle Count Timing??

My doctor told me to call when my period started to schedule my US with AFC. I called and they couldn't get me in until Thursday. This is actually CD#5. I was previously told it needs to be done between CD 2-4. My nurse said day 5 is fine and the last day they will do it, but now I'm concerned. I don't want a falsely low number due to the timing of the US.

Does anyone have any experience with this and/or any advice?

Previous history
IUI switched to TI x6 = BFN
IUI x2 = BFN
Essure procedure for hydro

New starts

*Possibly starting clomid in Sept or Oct
