When #3 is born, DD will be 3.5, but will be almost 4 when it's warm enough to use a stroller for the zoo, etc.
We currently have a good double stroller.
Would you recommend I buy a double sit & stand, or just keep what we have and make her walk?
TIA. Posting and running but I'll check back.....
Re: Triple stroller or make her walk? or sit and stand?
Honestly, I would just bring a baby carrier and if there is ever a time your 4 year old needs to rest in the stroller I would wear your newborn.
My DD is almost 4 and she RARELY rides in a stroller. I am pregnant with #3 too. I have a BOB Duallie and plan on just relying on that for when we are out and about. I will bring my Ergo and keep it in the basket underneath. If the "perfect storm" happens and my 4, 3, and newborn all need to be resting then I will wear #3 and put my older 2 in the stroller.

I agree with wearing the younger one if the older one really needs to sit. And I didn't catch it, but how old is the second one? They will probably want to walk a bit themselves.
Thank you ladies! Good advice.
PP: DS will be 22 months when #3 is born, so 2 years 3 months or so when it's warm enough to go places where strollers are needed.
I guess my fear is being say, at the zoo (our zoo here has crazy steep hills) and having to baby-wear and push a double stroller at the end of the day because DD's feet are tired. Sounds like a stellar time for me...lol
I guess we'll just play it by ear, though.
As long as your double stroller is good quality you should be fine. My kids are both between 32 and 35 pounds, my Duallie is 30 pounds. That is almost 100 pounds and it pushes very easily. Even on hills.
Just consider it a post-baby workout. It simply wouldn't happen enough to warrant getting a separate stroller for that possibility.

This, except we have a city select and a city elite double. Both can handle 100 pounds without a problem... I'm not much of a "baby wearer" though, so I'd just make my older one walk if we were somewhere that had steep hills.
