2nd pregnancy - showing earlier?

Hi ladies! I'm 35 and got my BFP a few weeks ago. :) I was curious though, we had planned a FL trip in June and I will be about 11 weeks then - I'm wondering if I should buy a couple pairs of maternity shorts or if I'll even need them? I guess I'll need them eventually anyway so it wouldn't be a waste...I'm just wondering what I'll be looking like then lol. :) I showed around 16-18 weeks good w/ DD #1, and I swear my pants are already getting a little snug! I'm about 7 weeks now. TIA!

    I'm on my third and I was fine at 11 weeks in my normal clothes and the one pair of jeans that were a smidge tight I just used the rubber band trick.  I'm 17 weeks now and went up a size in jean they fit great.  Maternity ones were still too loose and fell down all the time which was annoying.  I bought cute white skinny jeans from ON a size bigger in the Diva style that's lower rise.  I'm hoping to use them the whole time with a bella band because they were $19!  Perfect for FL :)

    Congrats! (from another +35er!)  I was ok in reg/slightly larger size clothes for #2, now w #3 and #4... another story

    I didn't really show with DS until after 20 weeks and was the same this time around.  I was able to wear non-maternity pants for a long time, but I know that isn't the case for everyone.  Since you'll be wanting maternity shorts later it might not hurt to pick up a pair before the trip just in case.

    The snugness right now is probably mostly bloat, but there is no way to predict for certain if you'll be showing at 11 weeks. Even if you have a little bump you can wear your regular shorts with a bellaband and avoid having to get maternity bottoms just yet. The problem with maternity pants that early on is your bump isn't quite big enough to really fill them out yet and they have a tendency to ride down a bit. I would just stick with a bellaband for now.
