Convertible car seat

We are thinking of moving DS to a convertible in the next few months since he is so long. DD has a Britax Boulevard which we like just fine but have heard good things about the maxi cosi pria and the new chicco nextfit. Anyone have either of these? I can't tell much of a difference between the three

Re: Convertible car seat

  • If you are interested in extended rearfacing, the nextfit will last you longer. The nextfit is really easy to install and use, I highly recommend it.

  • we have finally started using our Nextfit and we love it.  easy to install, great reclining options, well padded, felt secured/well made and LO seems to enjoy it as well.  the fist time she sat in it, she fell asleep on our way to lunch.  :)

The Pria is a really big seat so if space is an issue I would cross that off your list. The Nextfit will last longer and it's smaller.

  • The Nextfit gets great reviews. Another seat that's good for tall kids is the Graco MySize/Size4Me. We have one, and I've been really happy with it.
