Crawling ?

Rebekah has been unbelievably grumpy lately.  She doesn't seem like she is teething or sick, but she is definitely getting closer to... mobility.  She is pulling herself up, can get on all 4s briefly... no rocking yet though.  Were your LOs grouchy when they got closer to crawling?

    My son was grouchy when he started teething. He didn't seem to be when he started crawling.

    Ashley is doing the same thing OP. she can roll all over and sit up good but really wants to crawl, but when she gets on all fours she will fall flat on her belly and get mad. She has been really grumpy and now when we hold her she will twist in our arms and want to be put down.

    My LO was super grumpy just before she could sit, and now she gets very frustrated because she can't crawl. Is very close, but not close enough for her liking. She also wants to stand and will go from miserable to grinning as soon as we stand her up. 

    I think it is common. I like PP's term: milestone frustration.

    Montgomery was def a crank face when he was trying to crawl and couldn't get anywhere.  Now he's pulling himself up and I think he gets mad when he tries to side step and it ends up poorly (aka with him falling flat on the ground on his face).

    Z has started backwards army crawling, and just cut her first tooth. During the day, my husband is reporting that she is very needy and he can't do much without holding her. At night she's been a bit cranky too...
    I think her little head is tired from all the developing she's dining that might be why she needs the extra love snuggles.
