Late night post

It's 1225 and pumping. Woke up at ten after and c was out cold so I decided to pump before he got up. I knew as soon as I hooked up he'd wake up. Been pumping ten minutes and I can hear him beside me in his PnP thrashing around. Yay.
I hope he stays calm for another fifteen minutes or so. I hate letting him cry so I'm glad he's just wiggling and flopping around right now.
When I got up he was bum up on his stomach completely unswaddled. I tried loosely swaddling him tonight and that seems to work better than putting him down in no swaddle at all, but it definitely sucks not being able to do the baby straight jacket swaddling. That was a true sleep then!

    1207am here and DD is down for the count! Today, was such an awesome day! DD surprised me with a 7am wake up call, usually she wakes up around 10... but after her feeding she went back down at 830 and was out until 12... then we played, tummy time, and all kinds of fun :) With her nap at 830, (instead of taking a nap myself) I did the laundry, fix breakfast for my husband when he got home from his shift, enjoy my coffee, sanitize my breast pump parts and clean the living room. I was so energized today, I still feel like this :)

    She even let DH and I watch a movie and eat dinner, it was amazing!

    Tomorrow is DD 4 month appt. her 2 month appt was a breeze so we shall see how she does tomorrow!

    DH and I are watching I Hate My Yard on DIY and looking at new sinks for our downstairs bathroom

    2:30 here. This is the first night in a while that DS woke up and thinks its playtime. He went down at 8, ate at 11, and now is up and has no indication of wanting to sleep. He's in his crib cooing at his mobile whole I pump. I still don't know what to do these nights to get him to sleep! He even tries to wriggle free when you rock him because he wants to play. Hoping when I'm done pumping I can rock him and get him sleepy. Ugh.

    After one of our worst nights last night, tonight has been great. C slept from 8pm to 3am. He hasn't done this in a while. He doesn't seem to be going back down easily though.

    4 month appointment morning. I really hope that he gained enough to make the pedi happy.

    6:30 here. After sleeping through the night for weeks DD decided to be up and ready to eat at 4 am. She ate and eventually went back down but it took way longer than I had hoped. I know it could be a lot worse but I am not looking forward to going to work and dealing with my kiddos on interrupted sleep! Plus now I am fearful of the dreaded 4 month sleep regression! Fingers crossed this was a one night only thing.
