Stupid, Stupid Wish

A few days ago I wished for Mother's Day that I could have the day off--of work and parenting.  Well, I got it.  Unfortunately I also had the day off of food and liquids and any fun thanks to the stomach flu.  That was the absolute worst Mother's Day EVER.  I still can't stand up for more than a minute or so, but at least I can sit up to use my computer. 

Hopefully all of you had a much, much better holiday!

    Oh noooooo. That sucks so bad. I'm sorry you were sick!

    I have a sinus infection, but I'm getting over it.. so I was ok.  My mom was super sick, though. And two Mothers Days ago, my daughter was REALLY sick and I was so tired all day waking up 50 times to care for her.  Seems to be the holiday for sick.

    I hope you feel lots better soon!

    Oh no! :( I hope you feel better fast and I'm sorry it ruined your day. I had that bug a few weeks ago and it's just so nasty.

    Thanks all. DS shows no signs of anything yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and the Lysol spray close by.

    Oh, that sucks! I hope you feel better soon.

    I had the stomach flu on the day before Father's day last year but I still wasn't fully recovered by Father's day, so H was stuck taking care of me and A all day last year. We went camping to celebrate the following weekend with my family and my nephew and dad came down with it out in the middle of the woods. I'm hoping I can make it up to everyone this year!

    Oh no!  Hope it is not contaigous!  I got food poisoning on Friday and it was not cool!

    Hey--today I can finally eat and drink again!  Also, thankfully, two days later, and I was still the only one who got sick.
