I know we've discussed time outs before, but I was wondering where do you put your LO for time out? She has her big chair, but don't want her associating that with her negative behavior. I thought about just sitting her in the floor against the wall, maybe in a corner. Anyone do anything different?

We do timeouts on the second to bottom stair. I have had to do one at church before and I just sat her in an isolated area and told her she was in timeout. She understood and sat. I started them as "sit downs" (calm down) time and they slowly evolved into time outs.
N gets a TO if she throws a fit for not getting her way and doesn't calm down after a warning, if she hits, or if she does something she knows she's not supposed to do. We don't have to do them often and she always sits the entire time. I've never done more than a minute and a half.
