Trying to Get Pregnant

New OB/GYN

Hi girls! I am going to a new OB/GYN this Thursday and am going to have my routine yearly, as well as tell her all about TTC and ask for her suggestions. Any specific questions you would ask, or do you have any suggestions in looking for a "good" OB, other than just feeling comfortable with her?

Re: New OB/GYN

  • If my OB offered me any TTC advice beyond how to correctly chart BBT and taking a prenatal, I would run away.

Furthermore, if she told me charting wasn't recommended or mentioned the word Clomid, I would scream as I was running away.

Good luck though. It is tough finding a new doc.

Haha, thanks. While I may be new here I have quickly learned that temping and charting are pluses and Clomid is a no unless it is a last resort. Good thing I have been reading all the other threads...LOL

If this is potentially going to be the person who is delivering your baby, I would start asking about his/her preferences when it comes to labor and delivery procedures IF you have specific needs or desires in that area. Other than that, definitely what PP said.
