If you wear baby/ use a carrier...

Just curious what you all think is the best carrier for a 1 year old... I used the Moby for the first several months and it was pretty great but since she is bigger now - about 22 lbs - I don't know which hold is most appropriate or if I should switch to a more structured carrier.  LO is almost walking, but even still, there are just times when I would prefer to wear her and occasionally the stroller just isn't practical... like doing nature walks, etc... when on vacation.

 Thoughts?  Recommendations?  If you are still using a Moby, what works best and if you want to suggest a different carrier, I'd love to hear about it.  Thanks.  And Happy Mother's Day!

    I use the Ergo now. Ds is about 22lbs, and it's way more comfortable for lengthy walks.

    The Ergo baby is great! It doesnt hurt my back like the others did.

    I have an ergo as well. My baby is 20 pounds and I still wear her on the front but you can wear them on the back for longer walks/hikes. It works up to 40 pounds I believe.

    We have a Boba 3G and love it! It has little detachable stirrups for the older kids... even though DD is 9 months she loves the stirrups but her legs are really, really long! I chose the Boba over the Ergo strictly for print choice- I got the Tweet- and because the back buckle is centered vs on the side. Either way your LO will be comfy!

    Ergo for sure! i just toted my 43 lb son around a few miles on my back while pushing my other LO in the stroller. I actually feel stronger & not worn out! LOL!

    I was using a Moby too but needed something more supportive than the stretchy fabric.  Now I primarily use a woven that I bought from a WAHM on Etsy.  I LOVE it!!!  We also use a Beco Gemini which DH really loves to use. DS is about 25 pounds.

    I have a 8 month old, but we use a Ergo sport, and I have a Boba from my older one.  I used it in a back carry until I got pregnant with number 3.  I have started using it with Eryn (8 months) last week.  I am really loving it.

    I have an Infantino carrier.  I don't use it a whole bunch but when I have used it. I like it a lot.

    You definitely want a structured carrier, like an Ergo.  Our Ergo was money well spent!  It transfers the bulk of baby's weight to the band around the weight, so you don't feel soreness in your neck/shoulders.
