Hi Ladies

I'm not sure why I haven't noticed this board sooner.  Clearly, I haven't paid much attention.  I just wanted to introduce myself before I started posting.

I have one son, who will be 4 in June.  We are one and done, although not necessarily by choice.  I am the also the mom to two angels, Grace and Hannah.  My daughter Hannah was stillborn on 05/13/10, and I almost lost my own life in the process. After seeking two different doctors' opinions, I decided to have my tubes tied and be content with just having ds.  

It's been a rough journey at times, but I wouldn't trade my gift for anything in the world.

Anyway, Happy Mothers Day ladies, and nice to meet you!

    Welcome to the board! Some of us are OAD by choice and others of us had the choice made for us (I'm in the latter group) some of my history is in my siggy.

    I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughters, Hannah and Grace. I love their names, by the way.

     

    Married 4/12/08 DS born 11/17/2009 via c-section at 39 weeks. 11/12/2011 BFP #2!! m/c 7w5d. 2/28/2012 BFP #3 Beta #1-12dpo = 18; Beta #2-16dpo = 185; Beta #3-18dpo = 505. EDD 11/10/2012. Ectopic discovered at 5w4d. D&C followed by methotrexate.

    Welcome to the board.  Like PP said, this is a very friendly board with a mix of OAD by choice and by circumstance.  Happy belated Mother's Day!

    Welcome!  I am one and done as well with a boy who is 7.  It was not by choice as well and to medical issues but we are very happy now with our little family.

    So sorry for your loss of your daughters.
