  I'm not sure of the dimensions, but I just saw a very nice inflatable bed for toddlers at Buy Buy Baby yesterday for $75. It looked of very good quality but I did not notice the brand name. If you are near a Buy Buy baby, I'd go look at that bed. Or you can look on their website for this item.

  We still use the pack and play but very soon are going to need another option when traveling ourselves and this item caught my eye for the future.

  I would probably just fold up some blankets and let him sleep on the floor. Maybe bring a favorite blanket from home.
  
  Or you could bring toddler sleeping bag and sleeping mat. If you got a foam sleeping mat you could cut it down to size.
