I don't know if anyone volunteered to take over the weekly check in now that my lovely friend Kathy is KTFU, as I know with the holiday yesterday they might have been too busy...
But how about we do an informal checkin and see how everyone is doing.
QOTD: Did you make it through yesterday OK?

Hello Ladies!
Had my monitoring US this and awaiting a call back to see if I can trigger tonight for an IUI Wednesday.
I organized a bachelorette party for this past weekend, so spent most of the day OOT and busy with the party. Went to dinner at MILs house when I got back which was very low key so I feel pretty lucky that I was not bombarded with Mother's Day stuff.

Hai!
I have missed the weekly check in
. I just had my second monitoring appointment today and I still have no response s/p 50mg of Clomid. Last cycle I was ready to trigger at CD10 and this time my ovaries are on strike. I am waiting for a call from the RE once my bloodwork is back to put together a plan.
GTKY: I had a lovely weekend with family. It included amazing bloody marys.
TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF

Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14)
Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
Hello! I am a week late as of today. I have tested a few times and all times were BFNs. I am pretty sure this is just a wonky cycle but it is getting really frustrating. Supposed to call the RE today to let him know if AF has shown up or if I got a bfp -- I of course have neither. RE is trying to compare my biopsy and bw results with the timing of my cycle to rule out a LP defect. I didn't temp this month because our instructions were for sex EOD and the biopsy to confirm ovulation. I figured "What's the point?" Now I am kicking myself because I have no clue when I actually ovulated other than it was some time before May 1. Ugh. That'll teach me. Anyways, that is where we are at.
QOTW: I made it through yesterday just fine. DH and I had breakfast at the golf club on the veranda and then played a round. The weather was beautiful. Then he got me a card "from the dogs" to wish me a happy puppy momma day. It was nice.

Hello, 3T! Sending {{{hugs}}} to those who need them!
We have officially started meds for IVF #1. The lupron shots are not fun, and I've been having a red, itchy reaction each time they're injected. But other than that, I'm happy that things are rolling along! Stims will start in about a week.
I made it through yesterday okay. It was especially hard this year, for some reason, but at least I feel like we're doing something aggressive to make next year different.

Hi! Still redoing all my workups. CD#3 BW tomorrow and calling the clinic to schedule an US with AFC... never had that before, so I guess we'll keep moving forward!
After AF decided to be a ***** and show up 2 days late yesterday, we spend the entire day at the lake. BBQ'in, boating, hanging with friends...
This year I was ok. I was able to just snark at AF and move on. Last year, I spend most of the day crying. Hence why we took a break from TTC.
Also sending ((HUGS)) to everyone who needs it. I'm proof that it isn't always so hard and there are good day!

Hi everyone!!! What was Kathy thinking getting KTFU and leaving us with no check in.
I'm 9dpIUI and anticipate having and inner war with myself this week trying not to test. I did test out my trigger on Saturday. Beta is this Friday. I will test by that point because I see no point in putting myself through a blood draw for no reason. I just hope I hold out to test until then.
I'm flying today to go visit my sister for a week and also help her move (yay! no) so I will probably not be posting much at all this week. But I will be thinking of my girls though!!!
QOTD: I did pretty well. I was surprised that the church we attended actually read that thing I posted here last week. I tried to spend the day thinking of my awesome mother and not dwelling on what the day makes me think of.
Married October 2009. Me 29 H 28.
After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.
Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
Had a pretty good response last cycle on Femara 5mg + TI. So that's what we're doing this time around, too. Maybe we'll get lucky with this cycle...??? If not, we've officially hit two years of TTC.
***baby mentioned***
QOTD: I made it thru yesterday without getting too emotional. I even got to hold my niece (one week old!) for, like, an hour last night. She is so precious and a lovely reminder of what {hopefully} lies ahead for DH and I at the end of this difficult journey.

Hugs to anyone who needs them!
I'm on CD6 and will be taking my third dose of Clomid tonight. My RE office's protocol is to do mid-cycle monitoring on CD11, but that falls on a Sunday for me. So I am scheduled to go in on Monday, CD12. I typically have shorter cycles (average of 26 days, as short as 23 and as long as 28) and was worried about my monitoring appointment being too late. I called this morning, and my RE assured me it would be ok. Then I read Banker's update and now I'm worried again!!
QOTW: It was ok yesterday. I didn't make any unnecessary contact with the outside world (no errands or FB), so for the most part I was able to ignore the day. We celebrated with my mom and sister on Saturday. My sister went through IVF to get her little miracle, so I was surrounded by understanding. Yesterday, we went to brunch with my MIL and DH's grandmother. It was very pleasant.
Sorry your ovaries are not cooperating this time around, Banker! Anyone have any advice or experience about the bolded above?
Yesterday was definitely a rough one for me, but I survived - thankfully, I have my bday and DH's bday this week to look forward to!
I'm on IUI#2 -- had my 4th Menopur injection and 4th day of Femara last night. My next u/s is the 15th - I'm hoping to trigger and have my 2nd IUI early next week! fingers xd!

*1st IVF cycle, October 2013 (Synarel, Menopur (75 iu), and Gonal-F (150 iu)) -- BFP!! Saw two babies at our 5wk5d u/s on Oct. 28th! EDD=June 25, 2014
Hey Ladies.. Kati thanks for doing the checkin!
We are currently on a break. My ovaries are dumb! When REs nurse called to let me know that we were not moving forward with meds this cycle she said to come back when AF showed. and I said 'woah, woah, woah.. that could be in November" and she said to wait 30 days. So I already made my appt for June 3rd to do b/w and get anothe RX for provera... 10 days of that + wait and then more b/w. Hopefully these cysts clear up!
Yesterday was rough. DH bought me a plant that I've had my eye on and he said Happy [future] Mothers day. Sometimes he just knows what to say. cue the.. awwwwee!
Hope you all have a great week!

I would call to see if you can go in Friday or Saturday then again Monday as needed. This last cycle they had me come in starting CD9 for Sonos and clearly I am not ready.
Sunday was harder than expected. I am usually cool and collected around that stuff but not this time. Then at dinner last night we were next to a beautiful pregnant girl. Did not help.
Clomid cycle 2 is ongoing, but I poas yesterday and today both negative. CD1 is either today or tomorrow so it should have registered if it was positive. Want to get Clomid cycle 3 over with, then finally we can be referred to an RE. Clearly there is more going on here.
PS I think clomid is making me super bloated. I seriously feel like a bloated monster.
We are taking the month off, since I had my lap recently. It's taking me a bit longer to recover than I expected, but it's been a great mental break.
Yesterday was good. We had a boozey picnic with some friends.

Made it through yesterday ok, mostly bc my MIL and Mom came over for a bbq so DH and I were cooking/ cleaning most of the day.
I woke up this morning to AF and I'm still in shock (I normally do not O on my own and have to take progesterone for 10 days just to get AF), but I'm feeling okay about it. I go in tomorrow for an u/s to check for cysts.. If i'm all clear I'm back to follistim + trigger. I'm feeling optimistic that this could be the cycle for my BFP.
Me: Endo, PCOS, septated uterus (mostly removed)
DH: perfect
Started TTC in June 2011
Baby boy born 3/17/2014
Yikes... I called this morning to see about moving the appointment to Friday, and my RE said it was fine the way it was.... I don't know if I should push it? I'm thinking maybe I will just start testing with OPKs to make sure?
We are still discussing cycling for IVF #1 in August or September. I'm thinking August...I'd like to get this show on the road!
QOTW: Yesterday sucked, but I luckily didnt have anyone ask me anything..and I'm very thankful for that.
TTC since July 2011

BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks.

IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!
I am on CD 14, took 100mg of clomid on days 5-9. I had a monitoring appt this morning & they aee having me come back in again tomorrow. I am extremely tired and think I may take a nap. They said pending how things look tomorrow, we may add in a trigger.
I worked yesterday, which helped. I wish I would've stayed off of FB.
We're still waiting for July 1st and Dh's A1C redraw til then we're in a holding pattern. I kinda wanted to take a break from temping and opk's since we can't really do anything til then anyways but DH isn't ready to accept it yet. Hopefully the A1C level will have come down a little (or alot!), then we can redo the SA and hopefully see some improvement. Dr. said that with the current numbers IVF was the only feasible option. Which for us right now isn't really an option at all.
QOTW: I made it through without too much extra thought. Though one of the commercials on tv made me tear up, the one where the mom is talking to the daughter and trying to get her to talk to her belly. Yeah I almost lost it. Other than that I stayed holed up inside all day avoiding just about everything.
Me: 27 Dh: 35 Testing Begins 3/5/13

Genetic testing for me = MTHFR+, also carrier for blood clotting disorder Otherwise all else normal

Hi ladies!! HUGS to everyone who needs them! Tomorrow is my last day to take Femara 7.5mg for our medicated TI cycle. Monitoring on Wed. I decided to take tomorrow off work as a mental health day. With my BFN after IUI#1 last monday and M-Day yesterday, plus horrible time at work, I thought an extra day off work would do me good.
QOTD: I made it through yesterday "fine". I decided to work 12 hours yesterday, the problem with that was that the co-worker I was working with is pregnant with her first and talked about it none stop! Plus I can't count how many times someone asked me if I was a mother. My dad did get me a Red, Yellow, and White rose to symbolize Love, Hope, and Faith that I will become a mother some-day. It made me cry. My family is so supportive!

Hello 3T ladies, hugs to everyone that needs them, yesterday wasn't too bad. I made it through without seeing any little ones. Had a BBQ at my SIL's house with the family. It was nice.
Right now I am 3DPIUI, I am not super hopeful because, that's just reality I guess. We only had one follie and I triggered on CD 18. I usually O naturally between 17-19. I just felt like I did not respond that well to the clomid. Anyway we will see.
Had IUI #3 on Thursday. Hoping and praying its a BFP but trying to be realistic....l
Yesterday I was okay until I went on FB. So many mother's my age talking about how great it was to be a mother and then a sonogram preg announcement on there too. UHHHHH.
Hope everyone gets BFP soon!

Broke down once yesterday when dh and step daughter failed to recognize me for being a stepmom yesterday. Made it through church okay....they had a baby dedication with all of them displayed up front. Then I managed to smile and keep my mouth shut when 3 people at a restaurant wished me happy mothers day. It sucked but I survived.
Im 11 dpiui and I caved and poas. I have no symptoms and for some reason I just know its going to be a bfn. Beta is on Thursday, so I guess its not over until the beta says so. And no AF here, so I am kind of stuck until then. Feeling just blagh.
QOTW: I blogged about it, but overall it went well. I'm still avoiding Facebook. I can't deal with it right now. I feel much better not looking at it. I think not seeing it gives me more peace than the satisfaction of curiously peeking into others lives.
I did spend some of the day with my mom. We all went out for a fantastic seafood dinner and relaxed the afternoon away.

Q : yesterday was really rough in the beginning. I cried hysterically on the way to brunch for my mom and sister. I was okay once I got there, and come to find out they had gotten me cards and a St. Gerard medal. DH and I came home later and relaxed. It overall was okay.
QOTD: Yesterday wasn't too bad, we went with MH dad, mom, youngest brother and grandmother. At the restaurant they did give me the Mothers Day special which was a small marguerita and a piece of cake and a coupon. But I didn't mind because they really didn't even ask or say anything about Mother's Day and it was my Birthday so I enjoyed the marguerita. Lol. Other than that all we did was visit with family so it was good.
