Well, I just got the results of my CD3 bloodwook, and it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. My FSH was 12.8 and my estradiol was 33 (which the RE said was normal). She wants me to start right out with injectibles next month, so now we have a plan. Can some of you other lovely ladies tell me what the injectibles process is like? How long do you take the injectibles? What happens after you're finished the injectibles? TIA!

Injectable cycles usually begin with blood work and an u/s on cd 2 or 3 to make sure you don't have any cysts and to take a look at your follicles. Then, you will be told a dosage to inject yourself for the next few nights. This process will continue for 10-12 days, with regular u/s and blood work. Each afternoon you will get a phone call from your RE (or nurse) telling you what dose to inject based on said u/s and blood work results. When your follicles are the right size and your e2 levels are where they should be, you will trigger (I'll assume you are triggering ovulation since you are stimming) and then have IUI, time intercourse or whatever your plan is. It's really not that bad at all...seems more intimidating in the beginning than it really is. Good luck!
