I have an opportunity to work from home but my pay would be based off referrals so I'm wondering if its worth it. I want to be the go getter type that refers customers to something but I am an awful salesperson! Anyone done anything like this and been successful?
Re: work from home?
I am an RN and I do admissions assessments for a hospital. I mainly work weekends, but they often ask if I want projects during the week. While I love the extra money, I have a really hard time getting anything accomplished with Nolan. He plays really well independently until I get my work computer out! If I were to pay for childcare during the week, I wouldn't make enough money to justify working (DH watches Nolan when I work weekends).
Are you crafty at all? Knitting? Sewing? I have friends who are SAHM's who make a bit of money doing that on etsy and selling just through word of mouth and Facebook. There's also money to be had in cloth diaper conversion (changing over velcro to snaps)... Sorry, that's all I got!
