7 month old snoring?

My daughter is 7 months old and she snores at times when she's sleeping. I noticed she snores more when she falls asleep in her bouncer, is it normal or should I call her doctor and make an appointment. She hasn't been sick and she started snoring about a month and a half ago.

DS was doing this but it was after effects from a cold. You mentioned she didn't have a cold so I would probably call the pedi and ask about it.

W snores all the time, just like his daddy. All the men in both our families snore like motorboats, so I figure it's normal for him. It never disrupts his sleep and he never shows any other signs of a medical problem. I don't worry about it, unless maybe it gets significantly worse over the years.

I would make an appt just to make sure it's not sleep apnea or anything, which babies can have, but it probably isn't. I would check tho!

mamaHippo, I would at least mention to your ped about the snoring.. It's probably no big deal like you said. From the little bit that I have read, it is my understanding that snoring is never really "normal", but it may not be an issue.

OP, I would at the very least, mention it at your next appointment.
