Happy Mom's Day to me...

A flippin' spark plug flew out of a cylinder head in my "new" truck. Eff!! Jay's estimating it's going to cost $3,000ish to have it repaired as it's not something he can handle himself.

We get home, and Jay thinks he's funny and says, "Wouldn't it suck if the dishwasher totally broke?"

I started laundry only to find that my washing machine is broken. Off to Lowe's to buy a new one... Damn Jay and his smartass mouth.

Ho hum... All-in-all it was a nearly $4,000 weekend. At least we have an E-fund to take care of stuff like this?

Doesn't change the fact that it blows, and put a damper on what was otherwise a FABULOUS weekend!!

Dude! That Shiit happens to us all the time. The washer thing is kinda exciting because I get lady wood over major appliances.

That fvcker was 12 years old. I swore it would run forever. I HATE being wrong. ;P Sitting in Lowe's Jay's like, "Let's just get the matching dryer." I looked at him like he had three heads... Say wha!?!

I just 86ed our anniversary plans for later in the month because of this crap.

I desperately needed a beer after yesterday's shitstorm... Jay drank without me, so I went to the store and got Caramel Magnum Ice Cream Bars. I would forego sex for one of those things.

Plus side, I've got a brand new front-loading really reliable washing machine arriving on Wednesday. I really

We got a really awesome dryer about a year ago but the front loader washer we already had was still kicking. Doesn't match the fancy dryer. About a month ago it finally died, and I'm stuck using a standard top loader for another month or so.

I seriously had to read the manual because I'm not used to using a standard. I feel like a caveman. I really hate the standard. Hate it. Sophia's clothes do not spin right and are left soggy. What am I doing wrong????

Likely, nothing. It's probably the machine. Can you use an extra spin cycle to dry the clothes out more?

If it makes you feel any better, the incomplete "drying" in the spin cycle was the first sign this b!tch was dying. Get your sh!t in order... Your time might be near. I think a month sounds about right.

And I agree with Shanado - I love shopping for major appliances. Sadly (luckily?) I've never had to purchase them.

Not fun buying a new washer and dryer! We just did the same thing and it cost a fortune.

I hope you enjoy your new set! I was amazed at how much time I've wasted in my life on the stupid old washer and dryer. We had to run stuff through the dryer three times to get it dry before. Now what is it? 38 minutes. Yes. Please.
