For Mobile: Those with Angel Babies...

I know today can be extremely difficult and I wanted to share something with you guys.

Last year on Mother's Day, the first after losing the Twins, it was REALLY hard for me. My Amazing Mom gave this poem to me and I typed it up, framed it and it hangs in my living room where I see it everyday.


Dear Mommy,

On this Mother's Day, we know we're on your mind.
Just letting you know, we're doing just fine.
You wonder what we'd look like what kind of smile we'd have.
You question God ask why it's us you couldn't have.
But we're up here Mommy, safe in Nanny's arms.
We miss you too Mommy, but here we can't be harmed.
We watch you Mommy, hold your hand when you cry.
We know how hard it was for you to say goodbye.
We are up here Mommy, smiling down at you.
And here we will wait, until God needs you too.

It's personalized to me, hence "Twins" and "Nanny", which is my grandmother that passed.

I just hope you ladies find some peace knowing that your baby/babies are with you today. You ladies are so amazing and so strong. I want to wish you a Happy Mother's Day, because "Mother's in the Heart" definitely count!

    so very sweet. on this day, people often overlook the women who have lost children, lost their mothers, or are struggling with not yet being mothers. it's very nice to relate to people here who see things from this perspective. thanks for sharing!
    trying for #1 since May 2012... we're adopting! bringing home baby boy in january 2015!

       Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T
    SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
    BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
    Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!
    Cycle 14: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP! EDD 9/16/14~ Rowan Elizabeth born sleeping at 17w4d on 4/12/14 due to IC.
    ~There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world~
    New RE June 2014. RPL b/w - negative. SIS looking for uterine/cervical abnormalities & Asherman's 6/10/14 - ALL CLEAR!  
    Cycle 16: Natural IUI = CP, Cycle 17: Femara (2.5) + IUI = BFN, Cycle 18 Femara (5) + IUI = BFFN, Cycle 19: Break
    Cycle 20: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP EDD 6/20, transvaginal cerclage 12/19, Carson Quinn born sleeping at 16w3d on 1/6/15 due to IC
    Phone consult with Dr. Haney (Univ of Chicago) for transabdominal cercalge scheduled for 2/9/15.

    Thank you for posting this.  It totally made me cry.  My family asks me a lot if Mother's Day is easier now that we have our son, and it is a little, but I always think of the little girl that we never got to take home, wonder what she would have looked like, been like, what her voice would have sounded like.  That never goes away and it is amazing to have someone recognize that.  You have a wonderful mother.
