Hi Ladies!! We had our first RE appointment this morning, and I think it went really well! The doctor was super nice, and so was all of his staff.
After looking at our history, and the results of the testing we've had done...he said I do indeed have Unexplained Infertility with a LPD and recommended we do IUI with Clomid & Injectables & a trigger. I asked if it was possible to do all of that with TI, and he said absolutely! So, DH and I decided to start with TI and if that doesn't work, move on to IUI.
Of course, though...DH is going out of town next month around what probably will be close to when I need to trigger....ugh!! So we're trying to decide what to do. Our options are to skip the cycle completely and start with the next one....or to take BCP's to delay ovulation until he get's back then to start the cycle after that...
Any advice?? I really want to get started right away, but I don't want to waste the money on all the medications if he's going to be out of town and the cycle will be a bust anyways.
Im a little overwhealmed with the stuff I have to get done now...like requesting more visits be approved from my insurance, and trying to budget it all without knowing exactly how much were going to be paying. But, even with all of the unknowns, and all the work ahead...I'm excited.
ETA: to make paragraphs! & forgot about the LPD...

I'm with the other ladies. I wouldn't mess with the BCP. I know how hard it is to sit a cycle out when you are excited (I've been there!!) but BCP can mess people up. They do me!
Glad everything went well! and GL with whatever your decide!

Yeah, we will re-evaluate once CD1 gets here. Even my DH said that...knowing my luck it'd mess me up and make me have to wait even longer. If CD 1 comes and looks like it'll run right into when he's gone...we will probably just sit that one out and start up the next one. I'm hoping that by some miracle it works out.
