Shorts and short sleeves are great for the indoors, but I'd like some lightweight, full coverage clothes for LO for when we're spending time outside. IE things with long sleeves and legs. All I can find that come even close are swim clothes / rash guards, but if we're out hiking with LO in a backpack carrier, I think those wouldn't breathe enough and could get too warm.
Any suggestions?
Re: Sun protective clothing?
I have never used this, but my dermatologist gave me information once on laundry detergent that provides clothes with a layer of SPF. I just looked on Amazon and here it is: https://www.amazon.com/Sun-Guard-Laundry-Treatment-Protectant/dp/B0000Y3F6W
I was also googling for my own kids to find SPF treated clothes and came across this website - again I haven't bought any of the stuff yet, but was looking at it: https://www.solartex.com/servlet/-strse-Babies--dsh--Sun-Protection/Categories
Good luck! It is so nice when the weather gets nice, but then you have to deal with the sunblock and all the other sun related issues!
I brought plenty of sunblock, and some light long sleeve clothes. But since its 73 degrees and possibly humid even at 7pm. Im probably stuck with shorter sleeved clothing. Im also bring hats, and trying to stay in the shade.
Where did you find the light cotton suits with arms and legs? I've been to several shops and I've pretty much just seen shorts sets.
