For mobile bumpies: Suggestions for Natural Childbirth Books
Can anyone recommend a couple good books for natural childbirth and/or the Bradley Method? I've been searching my library catalog and can't find any good ones. FTM and all help is appreciated.
Re: Suggestions for Natural Childbirth Books
We read:
Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way: Revised Edition
Husband-Coached Childbirth : The Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth
Well, technically I read the latter, and read the former to DH on a long car ride--but he made flash cards himself :-)
I also recommend books by Ina May Gaskin, esp. for the actual birth stories included. they can be a bit hippy (ok, a lot) and crunchy, but really helpful esp. to counter the images of birth we see in pop culture.
All of these. Ina May is pretty crunchy, but the birth stories are really beautiful.

my promise to you
