My OB ordered an abdominal binder as part of my post partum orders, but I completely forgot to ask how long I'm supposed to wear it. How long did your doctor say to wear it?
I was never offered a binder for either if my previous csections. I've been hearing more and more about them so I guess I need to ask my OB about it!

I highly recommend them. It pushes everything back in, my belly was gone in two weeks and it didn't even look like I had been pregnant, and the compression helps with stability of your core while you are healing so that you don't strain anything.
I didn't like the one I got in the hospital so I bought the Babies R Us postpartum support, they are around 30 bucks. You'll need to get a smaller size band after a few weeks as you lose the inches.

I didn't know anything about them when I had my cs with DS, but heard about them on TB so I asked my OB. I have a hospital one and love it. It definitely gives a feeling of security and stability in your stomach and helps with sitting and standing. I also like that it smoothes the tummy area under my clothes!

You had me at "smoothes the tummy area"!
Haha! Unfortunately the tummy isn't quite so smooth without the binder, but I guess that's to be expected!

After a very long naming process, we decided upon Wren Alexandra. Once we saw her we just knew and it fits her perfectly!
