1st Trimester

Very Sad News

My hcg test went from 900 to 200. I lost my "baby". I don't understand. I'm heart broken.

I lost my last baby as well - it is something we will never understand and that no one who hasn't gone through it can understand.

I don't know if you're religious or not but the best way I came to peace with it was to think that this baby is in heaven now and will never have to suffer or see others suffer. Your blessed little baby will be waiting for you in heaven.

  • I'm (almost) with you. Don't have a confirmation u/s until next week, but I just don't feel pregnant at all. I actually felt it when it happened, which I understand is unusual (but typical for me).

I was a wreck yesterday, and somehow today feels a little different. Hope tomorrow is better for you.

  • I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your baby. It breaks my heart because it can happen to any of us during the first trimester. My u/s is coming up soon and I'm terrified. I'm excited and scared, but as the saying goes, things happens sometimes for a reason and no one knows why. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. HUGS from afar.

Are you basing your 'miscarriage' on a hunch or do you actually know?

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

  • I'm so sorry sweetie. :(
  • So sorry for your loss. It is a horrible thing to experience. I just found out today we lost our baby too. We went in last week to find on the u/s the baby wasn't developing. I was supposed to be 8 weeks and was only showing 5. After starting to bleed a few days ago and two more u/s including today's the miscarriage was confirmed. It truly sucks!

  • Very sorry for your loss. When you're ready, the miscarriage/pregnancy loss forum was a great source of comfort and support for me. I found it also helped to help others once I was able to do so.

I know this is a sad time for you. I had a miscarriage very early during pregnancy in 2010. I promise it gets better. I serve an amazing God who understands everything we experience. I pray that He comforts you gives you peace.

  • OP, I am so very sorry for your loss. I agree with PP that if and when you're ready the miscarrage/pregnancy loss board is amazing. They, and TTCAL have helped me through some of the darkest of my days.

This is crap. Words can not express how angry I am while reading this.

You have stated literally no signs of a miscarrage. Are you bleeding? Is your hcg going down? Have you had an ultrasound past 7 weeks with no heartbeat? No? Then there is no way to tell if you are having a miscarrage or not. Yes? Then it probably would have been good to say that in your post, and I am sorry for what you are going through.

A lot of people don't feel pregnant. Lack of symptoms is NOT an indication of an impending miscarrage. Posting that you *think* you're having a miscarrage in a thread where someone is stating that they've gotten confirmation of one, is inconsiderate at best. You could very well be fine (and if lack of symptoms is your only "sign, then you probably are)

Just think about how something like this would make you feel.
