Baby Dropping 1 Feeding Normal??

My 4 month old DD has been feeding 7 times per day since she was 2 months. Like clockwork. Recently she has been sleeping through her early morning feeding. I keep trying to fit in an extra feeding to make up for the one she's missing but she doesn't seem to want it. She seems content with only 6 feedings. I'm worried it won't be enough since she is not eating cereal or any solids yet. Advice? Thoughts?

    I have the same question! My twins sometimes drop the 1am or 4am feedings but don't seem to make up for it during the day. We are going to the pedi today so I'll ask and report back.

    I think this is one blessing of having a kiddo who changes his pattern daily.  I stopped counting bottles at 3 months because he changed up every day.  Our pedi said not to worry about anything if we were still seeing regular wet and dirty diapers.  His body will compensate as needed, and if he's hungry, we feed him.

    This is one question I can never seem to find an answer to and it's driving me nuts!  Even my pedi gives me a roundabout answer.  In the last couple weeks our twins have dropped one of their MOTN feedings, but don't seem to be making up for it during the day either.  I try to offer more (5oz vs. 4oz) but they still seem content with 4oz at every feeding.  I assume since the rate they are growing starts to slow around this time, that it makes sense that they get by with a little less calories?

    I follow my DD's lead and she now eats 5 times a day. I kept trying to force 6 but short of waking her up I was out of options. I finally just said ok whatever you want. She also started taking more in those feeds. As long as your LO is having enough wet and dirty diapers and is gaining wait I wouldn't worry about it.
