No sac at US today

I went in for my first US today and there was no sac. I am emotionally pretty numb at this point. I knew from the start it was too good to be true. I just don't understand why I started off with a beta of 348 and what hapened from there. I have had this happen and 2 chemical pregnancies and these were the only three times I have ever been pregnant. We will do IVF again, but I think I should find out why this keeps happening first? I just don't understand this.

    Gosh, I wish I had the right words to say.  I am so sorry this is happening to you.  I think trying to understand why it's happening would be a good way to go.  Know we're here to support you no matter what and take care of yourself.

    The same thing happened to me.  Its just heartbreaking to hear the news of the BFP and then to have it taken away.  I am so sorry you have to go through this.

    I am so sorry.  I know just how you feel.  I had my 3rd chemical pg last week.  I had my WTF appt yesterday and am deciding which tests to have run to find out what might be going on.   I hope we both get some answers.  Hugs to you.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Oh hon, I'm so sorry.  In terms of testing, if you do a D*C, they can test for chromosomal abnormalities - I'm sure how far along you need to be for that, though.  I hope you find some answers.  ((( BIG HUGS )))
