AW: scored the mother load...

I just scored the mother load of second hand baby goods...all in perfect condition! I got a used exersaucer to give to my d/c for DS, and a ton, I mean like two large laundry baskets full of 6-9, 12 and 18 month clothes; great quality, name brand plus some hats and shoes for DS...and even a few toys all at a garage sale of one of our friends. Sadly, they are moving out of our area but I'm glad I got to buy so much of their stuff!

I only dropped $50. That's a steal, all of that stuff is probably worth $200 normally...she cut me a deal which she didn't have to do but she insisted that she just wanted to get rid of it. I'm excited! Plus, my Mom bought a used Graco highchair for only $10...it's only 3 years old and is in pretty great shape.

I love saving money! Happy Mother's Day to me! If DH doesn't get me anything I'll think I'll be content enough...heck with the money I "saved" not buying all this stuff new I should treat myself to a gift! LOL!

    Way to go!!! That would make my weekend too. I need to start looking for some extra stuff for DD's daycare!

    That's awesome! I love shopping second hand. So good for the environment. Plus, I just cannot bring myself to pay full price for children's clothing that they will grow out of before you blink.
