1st Beta - this seems really low...

So we got another BFP this month and after our C/P in March I went in and had my beta's tested rightt away. I just got mine back and at 12 DPO is was 18. That seems really low... Thoughts...

TTC # 2 BFP 03/02/13 = CP, BFP 05/14/13 = CP, BFP 08/09/13 = CP

RPL testing = normal

TI Cycle #1, 50 clomid days 3-7, 150 iu Follistim days 8-11 = BFP! EDD May 22, 2014

Betas: 13 DPO = 79, 15 DPO = 149, 19 DPO = 788, 22 DPO = 2031

    My understanding is most doctors like to see around 50 at around 14dpo, so I think that number is OK for how early the beta was done.

    How sure are you of your o date? Could be a late implanter also. Fx for you!! Good luck!

    IVF #1 11/11 canceled due to OHSS
    IVF #2 Feb/March 2012 ET of 2 on day 3 4/7 BFP! 5/1 u/s blighted ovum
    IVF #3 July 2012 ET of 3 on day 3 7/24 BFP!

    IVF #6 August 2018- ET of 2 on day 3 - Chemical pregnancy

    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    Was this a monitored/medicated cycle? If not, it is difficult to be sure when you ovulated. I think in this case it's the rise that is important and not the value of the first beta draw. Hoping your next beta shows a great rise!

    My first beta with DS2 was 42 or something at probably 14dpo, hopefully it is just early yet. Fingers crossed for a great rise next time.

    Ok, that's good then! If you were just a day off on your O date, that would make a difference this early. Stay positive and I'll be praying for a great rise!

    My first beta with this pregnancy was 11 and it jumped into the 140's 48 hours later so don't give up hope just yet.  Fx for a great rise after your next draw.

    My first beta was in the 40's.

    I was pregnant with twins.

     

    Don't give up hope just yet! There is a ton of variance with betas!

    2/12: 100 mg Clomid + Bravelle last minute+ back to back IUI. BFN
    3/12 150mg Clomid + B2B IUI =BFP!! TWINS!
    Vanishing twin at week 6
    Tater-tot born January 3rd 2013

    2 IUI's in 2016- BFN
    3 IUI's in 2017- BFN
    8/17 IUI BFP!!!!!!!!
