So...we had our US on Wednesday.  Dr found 4 follicles on both sides.  Wants to watch the right side for 2 more days and then go back.  Friday at 11 is our followup US and he said that we will then decide on a time for my trigger shot and we would be looking at Sunday or Monday as the BIG DAY! I think it is kind of poetic that it might happen on Mother's Day. I finally slept last night as I don't feel as much stress.  Since this is our first attempt at an IUI I was extremely nervous that there might be something wrong with me internally...no reason to think this, just a fear.  Now we wait for tomorrow and then wait for Sunday...then wait for 14dpiui.   Lots of waiting!!!!

    Best of luck... Try and keep busy with all the waiting. Staying busy helped to keep my stress level down so I didn't obsess too much. It could be a really exciting Mother's Day for you!

    an update to the update....unfortunately it is not good news.  Went for my US today and there was no growth on my follicles. They said I might not even be ovulating this month.  He started to suggest that I wait it out and then saw that I started to get upset.  He suggested progesterone (sp?) b/c he didn't even think I would get my period this time. I haven't missed a period in over 3 years. He is also suggesting clomid. I know this isn't the end of the world...I truly do. But my heart is hurting. I was so set up to start this weekend. It always seems like there is something getting in the way. AF should start in 13 days, but I am so discouraged.

     Sorry for the depressive vent...just having a hard time with this.
