bike trailer & jogger recommendations?

Does anyone have recommendations for a bike trailer/jogger?  I saw the BabyJogger Pod, Burley models and the InStep Quick N EZ double.  I think I would prefer a double as we will likely have another kiddo soonish.  The reviews are making me even more confused!  The price of the InStep is so much cheaper but I am worried about the reviews saying it is cheap materials.  At this point I'm not that concerned with price (within reason), I just want something good quality that I won't hate :)

Re: bike trailer & jogger recommendations?

  • I am thinking about getting the Chariot Cougar. My friend has it and it is super easy to take off wheels and attach the bike trailer hookup. It collapses really small and you can buy a ski conversion kit.

If I don't get it, I will probably go with one of the Bob's.

  • I have the Chariot Cougar double. Bike trailers are one thing you get what you pay for. I wouldn't touch the Little Tikes one for anything. Bell and Burley are off my list too.

I can't rave enough about ours, I reviewed it a while back. If I get to an actual computer I'll try link it.

  • We have an in-step.  Bought it on a cyber Monday deal.  We have used it a couple times.  Works fine.  No problems or concerns to report.

I have the Chariot Cheetah single and I love it. I bought it last year and git a great deal but I wasn't able to use it last year since my son was too young and the seasons changed. We've been going every day for the last week and it's great. It attaches to the bike really easily and you hardly feel like you're pulling anything. My son is super comfy in it-- so much so, he's been dozing off for most of our rides.

I bought an Allen trailer off Amazon and I like it.  I do kind of wish I had looked for something used that had suspension but I just wasn't ready to plop $500 on a trailer that we don't use a ton.  The Allen one is great though.  For $180 I am pleased.

I have a Schwinn double bike carrier. It came with a small front wheel so it can be used as a stroller but I have only used it on our bikes. We take our 2yo and the neighbor 5yo out a lot. They fit well in the carrier together with plenty of room for storage too.
